Come and learn the wonderful art of collagraph printmaking and create your very own cactus print on this special one off workshop.
On this cactus themed workshop you will learn how to create a collagraph printing plate from a piece of board using a range of mark making tools and collage materials to create different textures. There will be a choice of samples and illustrations for you to copy, all with the option to add your own personal touch and of course the huge cacti display at Botanica to inspire us.
Once you have finished your design you will be guided through the intaglio inking process and how to print your design using an etching press.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or for those who have done some collagraph printing before, but no previous experience or drawing ability is needed.
