This listing is for a special edition of my linocut print 'Lion's Tooth' from my Wild Flower Collection printed in limited edition bronze ink on black paper.
My dandelion drawing, which also features a butterfly, grasshopper, ladybird, bee and snail, was hand carved into the lino using sharp pfeil cutting tools and individually printed on black paper in bronze ink.
The Dandelion was originally named ‘dent-de-lion’ by the French, meaning `tooth of the lion’ which refers to the jagged teeth-like leaves. English speakers later twisted the word into what we know today. This linocut print forms part of a collection of botanical forms featuring wild flowers and insects.
Due to the nature of hand printing each print may be slightly different making each one unique and original.
Your print will arrive in an A3 do not bend envelope.
